SumUp Limited - Branch Germany and its affiliates (collectively referred to hereunder as “SumUp”, “us”, “Data Controller”) process the personal data of participants in competitions organised by SumUp.

Why SumUp processes your personal data and on what legal grounds

Our purpose for collecting this information is so that we can facilitate the competition and give the winner their prize. The lawful basis we rely on for processing your personal data is your consent under article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. We use this information to facilitate the competition and to send the winner the prize.

If you wish to enter the competition, you will need to submit your name, email and select the prize you would like to win (from the options provided) in a form on the landing page for the competition. The winner will be chosen randomly from the form submissions and contacted via the email provided when submitting the form.

How long do we use your data?

We are going to use your personal data provided for the competition only until the prize has been received by the winner. We are going to store your personal data only until the prize has been received by the winner.

What are your rights?

We rely on your consent to process the personal data you give us to facilitate the competition. You give us your consent when you choose to enter the competition by submitting your name, email and the prize you would like to win (from the options provided) in a form on the landing page for the competition. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. However, this will lead to impossibility to be entered into the competition.
